Blood Sugar

Blood sugar is a value that represents the quantity of glucose circulating in the blood. It is regulated by insulin (which raises the blood sugar level) and glucagon (lowers the blood sugar level) and also by the organs such as the kidneys, the liver or the pancreas. An unstable blood sugar level causes serious health risks and is the main symptom of diabetes.
